Crimson Clue is a daily murder mystery game. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used. We are committed to being transparent and keeping your information safe.

Crimson Clue collects a minimal amount of data necessary to operate the game:
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifying information unless you contact us directly.
Every daily mystery is generated on our servers using the OpenAI API — before it reaches your device. Your personal data, gameplay choices, and device information are never sent to OpenAI. The AI only receives our creative prompt; it never sees anything about you.
Crimson Clue uses Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may collect and use your advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS) to show you relevant advertisements.
You can limit ad tracking at any time in your device settings under Privacy & Security → Tracking. If you opt out, you will still see ads but they will not be personalized.
AdMob's data practices are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Anonymous analytics and crash data is retained for up to 14 months as per Firebase's default settings. You can request deletion of any data associated with you at any time by contacting us.
Crimson Clue is rated 13+ on the App Store. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
